When wedding photographers Charlotte and Callum from C and C Imagery asked me to be part of their dreamy pastel styled shoot, alongside some super talented wedding suppliers I couldn’t resist! Being a part of these shoots is a wonderful opportunity for wedding suppliers to showcase their amazing talent and what everyone can create for a wedding day. The shoots give wedding planning couples some fab inspiration for what you could include as part of your own wedding day.
The shoot took place at Buxted Park Hotel, a luxury country house wedding venue in East Sussex, with an alfresco set up for the wedding ceremony. Florist Kathryn Josey Flowers created this stunning foam free floral backdrop and arrangements for the aisle made up of beautiful pastel blooms nestled amongst foliage.
Wedding Stationery
For this shoot I supplied the Jenni wedding stationery collection from my curated collection of wedding stationery designs. The Jenni is a timeless and elegant design incorporating a venue illustration for an extra personalised touch. I customised the stationery to a pastel colour palette of soft pink tones with white card for a pretty, romantic look, to suit the style of the shoot.
Alfresco Wedding Table Styling
The wedding breakfast tablescape was also set up alfresco, surrounded by beautiful pastel floral displays alongside the table, to the backdrop of Buxted Park’s grounds.
A pastel colour palette is a timeless and romantic choice for a wedding. The delicate florals made up of pale pinks, lilacs and creams look so pretty. Coloured glassware is a lovely option on a wedding tablescape to add a pop of colour. The taper candles in a range of lilac and pinks complimented the florals beautifully.
Each place setting featured the Jenni place name with the guest name printed on a soft pink card, layered on a white wedding menu. Each one was styled with a detailed iced biscuit for the wedding favour and tied with a pretty silk ribbon.
Wedding Signage
To fit the pastel colour theme, I designed the welcome sign with white text and a touch of white calligraphy onto a lilac background. The sign was placed next to the table, surrounded by the beautiful pastel blooms.
I can provide signs of any kind for a wedding day and this one was a lovely touch to add to the shoot, created with a touch of calligraphy.
Bridal Looks
The two model brides wore bridal gowns from Fross Bridal Boutique. With gorgeous hair styles of loose waves and curls by bridal hairstylist Leanne Hopkins and natural, glam make up by Make Up Artist Shoba. Accessorised with statement earrings and jewellery from Nicholls Jewellery.
