SEPTEMBER RUSTIC BARN WEDDING

Mus and Michaela held their wedding day at Micklefield Hall, a country wedding venue in Hertfordshire. Held in September and lucky with the great British weather, the couple’s wedding ceremony took place outside, to the backdrop of The Temple, with the couple’s dog as their ring bearer. With stunning autumnal tones of toffee, oranges and pale pink from the wedding florals by Andrew Fleming Florist and copper touches running throughout the signage. The day was beautifully captured by Sarah Legge Photography.

Wedding Stationery

The couple chose to combine the Carmen and the Clara collections from my curated collection of stationery designs, to create their own modern and classic design. Incorporating elements of both designs using copper foil, a bespoke venue illustration, touches of calligraphy, a bespoke monogram, an olive green envelope and copper wax seal.

Wedding Signage

I designed the welcome sign with a modern look, using a touch of calligraphy in copper to match the text, on a white background. A lovely way to welcome guests with the stunning wedding florals in autumnal hues of burgundy, orange and pale pink.

Order of the day signs are ideal for letting your guests know what the schedule of the day is. To match the rest of the signage, I used a copper header with a touch of calligraphy and black text on the white background. Signs can be portable and moved around to wherever your guests will be on the day, shown here by an outdoor drinks cart.

The table plan used touches of calligraphy for the header with each table name in copper. There are so many ways to have fun with your wedding table names. Have a read of this blog for some more inspiration.

Wedding Breakfast Set Up

Inside the venue’s rustic barn, the wedding breakfast was set up with round tables and fairy lights creating a romantic atmosphere amongst the wooden beams.

I designed each table name with copper text on a white background and hand calligraphered each guest name in copper ink. Green coloured glassware added a pop of colour to the tables along with the copper linen and the autumnal hues of wedding blooms in glass vases.

Thank you to Mus and Michaela for having me a part of your wedding day. I wish you all the best for your future together. Here’s a couple more photos including their fabulous ring bearer….
