A black and white wedding colour palette looks stylish all year round. Black and white can be used across wedding stationery from save the dates, wedding invites to the on the day signage such as a table plan and on the day stationery such as wedding menus, table names and place names.
I have a curated collection of designs available on my website which can all be customised to a monochrome colour palette.
The Emma stationery collection combines layers of gold foiled vellum, subtle foliage details and a personalised monogram, in a black and white colour palette.

Black card provides a gorgeous background for adding some shimmer such as the gold foil calligraphy used on The Georgia wedding invitation.

Monochrome Wedding Signage
The monochrome colour palette can be continued through to the wedding day signage as shown here with white calligraphy and text on a black background for a gorgeous winter wedding welcome sign.
Frosted Perspex is also a good choice for wedding day signage, designed with white calligraphy and text for a softer look. White and frosted perspex also provides a lovely background for any colour of wedding flowers.

A table plan is an essential part of wedding signage to show guests where they are sitting in a stylish and elegant way. If you opt for frosted perpex it can be used for the table plan too.

I adore how a black and white colour palette comes together on the wedding breakfast table. Menus and place names are perfect for showing your stylish choices.
This white place name looks chic and contemporary layered on the black and white wedding menu, secured with a minimalist paperclip. It’s the menu place name from the Hollie stationery collection which shows how stationery can be customised to a different colour.

Black and White Styling
If you are going all out for a black and white theme there’s some gorgeous inspiration from a styled shoot by Claire Do Monte on this blog post.
The minimalist and contemporary styling featured crisp linen tied with a black velvet bow, layered white crockery, glass candlesticks, black tapered candles and black square lanterns.

I couldn’t resist including this stunning three-tiered monochrome wedding cake featuring black marbling by Cake Buds.
