Harriet and Richard chose Botley Hill Barn, a luxury rustic barn wedding venue to hold their wedding day. With a stunning alfresco wedding ceremony on a beautiful English summer day, to the backdrop of the Surrey Hills countryside. I love the floral styling by The Gorgeous Flower Company who used a collection of beautiful white florals combined with fresh green foliage and small pops of pale pinks. Photographers Eloise and Mitch captured all the magic and details of the big day.
Barn Wedding Breakfast
The statement barn with floor to ceiling windows and the sun streaming in, was set up for the wedding breakfast with banquet style tables. With an abundance of stunning white florals and green foliage set up at the ends of each table in rustic stands and tall white vases next to the top table.
The couple wanted to create a tambourine reception entrance to accompany the music playing them in to their wedding breakfast. Their challenge to me was whether I could personalise the tambourines with calligraphy so each one could be given as a wedding favour. I loved this challenge and jumped at the chance to be involved! Each tambourine was placed at the table for the guest’s individual rustic place setting.
Here’s how the personalised tambourines came to life when the couple made their fun statement entrance…
What a finish to a fabulous entrance and what a way to all celebrate together!
Large Signage
Harriet and Richard also requested for my hand drawn calligraphy to be added to a mirror, a fab idea for this modern, picture-perfect couple!
Wedding Couple Styling
Bride Harriet looked incredible in a strapless fitted bridal gown with lace detailing throughout and a delicate bow. Her hair was styled into a romantic half up do and adorned with fresh white roses. She accompanied her bridal look with delicate pearl earrings, a necklace and a floor length veil. Groom Richard looked handsome wearing a summery pale beige linen suit with matching waistcoat, a tie, a white shirt, brown belt and brown shoes.
Harriet’s four bridesmaids wore cream silk maxi dresses with pretty, twisted hair up do’s. Each of the bridesmaids held a bouquet of the foliage and white florals to match Harriet’s gorgeous bridal bouquet.
Thank you, Harriet and Richard, for having me as one of your wedding suppliers on your amazing day. I wish you both all the happiness for your future together. Here’s a few more photos from their stunning day….
