ALFRESCO ITALIAN WEDDING

I fell in love with this stunning destination wedding in Puglia, Italy. Planned and styled by the wonderful Holly at Wonderlust Events and based at venue Masseria Grieco. One of the highlights has to be the stunning florals by Lettre & Elise, a mix of delicate blush and white florals combined with pampas grass for a luxury look throughout the alfresco styling. You can feel Emily and Matt’s energy and love through the photos, beautifully captured by wedding photographer Nicola Dixon.

This alfresco wedding breakfast set up looked incredible against the backdrop of the stone venue. Rustic wooden banquet tables and chairs were set up with an abundance of stunning pampas mixed with the blush and white floral arrangements as the table focal points. Combined with touches of copper, crystal glassware and romantic candlelight.

Wedding Table Set Up

Each guest place setting featured a printed place name, layered on a wedding menu with a touch of copper and calligraphy and held in place with a copper contemporary clip. Placed onto a pale grey linen and white crockery.

Wedding Signage

I designed the order of the day sign with copper calligraphy and text printed on fabric which is ideal for a destination wedding because it can be rolled up and placed into luggage for travel. I’ve written a blog specifically on destination wedding stationery which is useful if you’re planning an overseas wedding!

Small Signage

Signage can be created for anything on your wedding day you would like to highlight to guests. Emily and Matt chose signage to ask guests to sign their guestbook.

Instead of a table plan, Emily and Matt gave guests a bag of taralli (italian snacks) which I provided personalised tags to be tied on to let the guests know which table they were seated at.

Personalised tags with calligraphy showing the table the guest is to be sat at, attached to a bag of Italian snacks with a green ribbon.

I love using touches of calligraphy across wedding signs because it always looks elegant. I provided reserved tags for the couple to use for specific seats in the ceremony.

Bride and Groom Outfits

Emily looked gorgeous in a Wtoo by Watters whimsical bridal dress with delicate beaded straps, a plunge neckline and floral appliques adorned throughout the dress. Accessorised with bridal shoes by Charlotte Mills.

Emily’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous maxi silk copper dresses by Pretty Lavish UK and pretty hair up do’s.

Matt wore a 3 piece suit by Cad and the Dandy, with a white shirt, burgundy tie and brown shoes, accompanied by his matching groomsmen.

Thank you Emily and Matt, for having me as a small part of your big day! Here’s a couple more photos from their stunning wedding day…..
