WEDDING FAVOURS

Wedding favours are presented to guests as part of the place setting at the table. Not all couples choose to include them but if you do, there are lots of different things you can gift from homemade treats to poems. Including a wedding favour on the table gives another opportunity to co-ordinate with the wedding colour palette with some small personalised stationery. Here are some ideas of wedding favours the couples I’ve worked chose and the stationery to accompany them.

Charlotte and Alex had a stunning tablescape set up for their wedding breakfast, including a charity pin badge and in honour card which I designed to match the rest of their on the day stationery with a watercolour green background. The card was layered with the guest place name with calligraphy in gold ink.

A popular choice amongst couples is to donate to charity on behalf of their guests. I personalised Amanda and Jack in hand drawn calligraphy on their donation cards. It’s always worth contacting the charity you are donating to, so you can include the charity badges or pins alongside a message.

If flowers are a feature of your wedding day then dried florals make a lovely keepsake for guests to take home. Jo and Dave tied theirs with a small grey thank you tag, which I personalised with their names in white.

Scratch cards or lottery tickets are a fun wedding favour to give to your guests. Imagine the happiness if one of your guests won! I can personalise a thank you tag to accompany in the colours to co-ordinate with your day.

Why not incorporate a toast using the wedding favours as part of one of the wedding speeches! These gorgeous homemade elderflower gins were accompanied with a small thank you tag, which I personalised with calligraphy and were tied with a sage green ribbon. Such a special personalised touch.

I love this tag which says ‘take a shot, we’ve tied the knot’ with calligraphy touches to match the guest place names. Help your guests to get the party started!
