Featuring a styled shoot on the blog today which includes lots of inspiration for couples seeking an intimate and relaxed wedding day.
This styled shoot was inspired by the rise of intimate weddings. The Gooseberry House in the heart of Sussex is a gorgeous venue, a modern venue but with character. The newly Victorian glasshouse can hold up to 100 guests but is perfect for intimate weddings. The venue is a rural setting with acres of orchards, vines and crops.
Yellow was used as the base colour theme with soft peachy tones and brassy accents, inspired by the antique brass doors in the glasshouse and captured by this wonderful creative team, planned and executed by Bower Events. Photographer Hannah Lightpainter captured all the stunning details.
Warm yellow and orange flowers were styled by Florist Dove & Myrtle which looked fabulous next to the antique brass doors of the glasshouse at Gooseberry House and throughout the venue.
Wedding Table with Sharing Platters
A stunning tablescape was created using rustic shelving from Toast HQ. A sharing set up without having to sacrifice all the pretty table accessories such as candles and flowers.
The sharing dishes were provided by Bear Claw Catering proving that sharing style food can still look stylish!
Curved Wedding Stationery
I designed the curved stationery in a suite of neutral tones with modern calligraphy to suit the yellows and warm oranges used throughout the styling. A full arch invite and curved stationery gives the suite contemporary vibes.
This stationery suite is based on The Hollie Stationery Collection from my curated collection of designs and can be customised to suit the colour of any wedding palette.
The place names were layered onto a curved wedding menu which also features modern calligraphy. Styled at the table with gorgeous pale linen, brass cutlery and a sweet lollipop treat by Anna Lewis.
Wedding Signage
A beautiful ethereal backdrop was set up featuring a wedding welcome sign, accessorised with candles and beautiful florals.
Wedding signage is the perfect opportunity to wow your guests on your wedding day. This one features flowing white calligraphy on a frosted Perspex background.
Bride and Groom Outfits
A modern glam look contrasted with the rural rustic setting. The bride wears a gorgeous, fitted dress by Anna Georgina, with a fabulous feather jacket by Jesus Peiro, provided by Morgan Davis Bridal. Accessorised with Celeste lace up shoes by Emmy London.
The groom wears a classic three-piece suit in tweed by Menswearr.
The couple then changed into trainers and cosy yet stylish knitwear by Marry & Bride for a more casual look as the celebration moved outside, ready for the golden hour portraits.
Wedding Cake
Oh just look at the dreamy two-tiered buttercream cake by Bunston Bakes, adorned with blooms. Looks too good to eat!
The cake was part of the outdoor styling with the couple toasting on a casual seating area, making the most of their cosy knitwear!
