A styled wedding shoot which took place at The Ned, a hotel in the heart of the city of London with a vintage yet contemporary feel. The shoot was created and styled by Claire Do Monte weddings and demonstrates how big city weddings work beautifully for couples seeking a modern approach.

The private outdoor terrace at The Ned, with views of the city was a perfect backdrop for a stylish and contemporary city wedding.
Wedding Styling
The Ned’s grade 1-listed private space features walnut panelling and vintage chandeliers. The stylish wedding table was set up with a luxurious look to suit the couple, including emerald green linen, crystal glassware, brass candlestick holders and elegant white florals from Tiger by the Tail. Combined with luxurious wedding stationery in black and green with gold foil calligraphy for maximum impact.
Gold Foil Wedding Stationery
Gold foil looks so stylish on a dark contrast background as per the black card used for this shoot. Inspired by The Georgia Stationery Collection which is one of the designs in my curated collection which can all be customised to suit your own wedding palette and style.
Each guest name was personalised using hand drawn modern calligraphy in gold on dark green card. Layered on a black wedding menu and secured with a contemporary clip, placed on top of white linen for standout.
3 Tier Stylish Wedding Cake
A contemporary 3 tier iced wedding cake was created by Anna Lewis which certainly created a statement. The cake was styled on a transparent acrylic plinth with stunning white florals located at the foot to co-ordinate with the blooms used throughout the shoot.
The Grooms Outfits
Booth grooms wear modern tailored tuxedos from Nicholas and Harding with white shirts and black ties. One groom wears with a timeless black double breasted tuxedo jacket and the other groom wears with a dark green velvet tuxedo jacket, both with shoes from Loake Shoemakers.
