James and Alex’s wedding day used an abundance of beautiful green foliage mixed with dried and fresh florals for a rustic boho feel. The wedding day was located at The Tythe Barn, a gorgeous rural barn situated on a working farm in the Oxfordshire countryside.
Wedding photography team The Wild Bride, who specialise in wild and free non-traditional weddings, captured all the details of this stunning wedding day.
I love the gorgeous styling which welcomed guests to the wedding, with stunning blooms from Sian Ryan Design, a statement bicycle and wicker basket. The perfect space for my Perspex welcome sign to be displayed, with a hand painted background in green and gold lettering, placed on a wooden easel.
Romantic Barn Styling
Inside the barn a stunning rustic floral masterpiece by Sian was the main styling amongst the rustic wooden beams. Romantic fairy lights provided a beautiful backdrop.
On the banquet wooden tables, foliage was used to decorate, combined with tea lights to continue the romantic atmosphere.
For each guest’s seat at the banquet table, I created diamond shaped place names in green, hand calligraphered in gold ink and a gold tassel for a luxe finish.
The pretty 4 tier wedding cake was placed on a rustic log and accessorised with foliage and delicate florals.
Green and White Wedding Stationery I created the wedding stationery design on green card with crisp white modern calligraphy. James and Alex also opted for a bellyband and a beautiful gold foliage wax seal for their wedding invitations.
I have a range of curated designs available on my website, of which all can be customised to suit your wedding palette. Browse through for some inspiration!
Wedding Signage
As well as creating the wedding welcome sign, I also provided a table seat plan which used a simple white font with gold calligraphy and was placed on a wooden easel.
Bride and Groom Outfits Alex wore a beautiful deep v neck dress with intricate detail and a full skirt, accessorised with pale grey Jimmy Choo’s and a long veil. Lauren Wheeler Artistry styled the bride’s hair into loose boho plaits with beautiful loose curls and natural yet radiant make up.
James wears a fabulous green velvet tuxedo jacket with black trousers and a black bow tie and white shirt.
The groomsmen all wore black tuxedo suits and the bridesmaids wore matching pale grey maxi dresses.
I wish James and Alex a very happy future together. Here’s some more images from their wedding day…..
