In February I was part of a stunning Valentine’s themed shoot with a talented group of wedding suppliers. The shoot was based at Hyde House, a Victorian house and barns in the heart of the Cotswolds. Holly Florence Photography and Eleanor Bryant photography came up with the Valentine’s concept together and Lara Parnell Weddings provided the styling and the beautiful florals to bring everything together on the day.
In the hall, round tables for two were set up with romantic white taper candles placed in gold candlestick holders, gold cutlery and dusky pink glassware. A pretty floral arrangement with stunning roses and foliage was set up on each table.
Wedding Invitation
I’m obsessed with this gorgeous colour palette! I had fun designing the wedding invitation which gives 70’s vibes with the font, curves and wavy edges.
How gorge is the customisable beaded heart bag from Chateau de Mathilde. I love when photographers include a flat lay of the wedding stationery with the bride’s accessories. I recommend to all couples to take a wedding invitation with you on your wedding day so the photographer can get a flay lay shot in the morning. The RSVP included a pale pink envelope with a finishing touch of a white wax seal with a heart detail.
Romantic Table Styling
This colour palette gives all the romantic feels with the beautiful red and pale pink roses and candles combined with the gold cutlery, gold rimmed crockery and glasses.
I designed the table number with red and pink tones, the 70’s inspired font used on the wedding invitation and wavy edges.
Each place name featured contemporary shaped stationery with a circular place name laid on a curved edged menu, using the consistent 70’s inspired font. The touch of black from the napkins and candlestick holders provided contrast to the romantic colour palette.
Bridal Looks
The model bride was styled in dresses by Australian brand Madi Lane Bridal from Emily Kate Bridal in South Wales. Accompanied by a glamorous plaited hair up do by Amy Marie Bridal Hair, with jewellery from Grace and Kin and holding a bold bouquet containing red and hot pink roses.
Here for the gorgeous silk hair bow from Rebecca Anne Designs and beautiful lace detail of this shorter bridal dress. How fabulous is the heart shaped be mine cake by Peboryon?!
