Holly from Wonderlust Events worked with couple Suzie and Charlie to create a stunning pastel inspired romantic countryside wedding day. With beautiful blue skies across Hampshire, this wedding was relocated from France but the couple were so lucky with the British weather!
Marquee Styling
Inside the marquee round tables were set up with wooden chairs, grey linen, gold cutlery and pastel candles. A gorgeous floral masterpiece was created by Bloomologie Flowers with stunning floral table centrepieces.
For each place setting I designed a menu with grey text on blush pink card. Each place name was hand calligraphered in white ink on grey card.
Each table name I designed using white hand calligraphy on hexagonal Perspex tiles for a contemporary look.
The beautiful 3 tier wedding cake accessorised with delicate pastel florals.
Pastel Wedding Stationery

Suzie and Charlie liked the Lauren invite but with the Hollie font and menu style so I combined the two designs together to create their stationery. A colour palette of grey and blush pink is a timeless choice for stationery but made contemporary with a san serif font and modern calligraphy.
Foliage Wax Seals
Wax seals are a gorgeous luxury finishing touch to wedding stationery. Couples can choose from a generic design or bespoke with monogrammed initials on, available in shimmering metallic tones or subtle pastels. Suzie and Charlie chose this foliage wax seal in white for their wedding invitation envelopes.
Wedding Signage
The welcome sign I designed with white calligraphy on a clear Perspex background which was styled with the gorgeous blooms and placed on a wooden stand.
The table plan was also created with white calligraphy on a clear Perspex background for consistency and held by a wooden stand. All on the day wedding signage can be created to match your save the dates and invitations.
Suzie and Charlie chose to have an order of service booklet to give guests a step-by-step outline of their wedding ceremony. Designed using grey calligraphy on a white card booklet to keep a cohesive look with the wedding stationery.
Bride and Groom Outfits Suzie wore a stunning high neck backless halter dress with an embroidered flower trim and silk skirt by Elizabeth Fillmore Bridal, accessorised with shoes by Sophie Webster. Suzie’s hair was styled into a loose, twisted bun by Rosie Loves Tilly with a floral hair piece by Eden b Studio. Complete with a beautiful bridal make up look by Lauren Phelan. Every inch a beautiful bride!
Charlie wears a made to measure blue suit by Scabal with a cream waistcoat, white shirt and silver tie.
