Katie and Tim held their wedding ceremony at Silchester Farm, a charming rustic barn venue in Hampshire, amongst the backdrop of twinkly fairy lights. This wedding venue is a dream to dress with flowers and florist Flowers by Helen Elizabeth did just that! The barn was adorned with stunning florals and a fab alpine style arch made by the father of the bride to frame the ceremony. All the moments and beautiful details of the day were captured by Adrianna Wedding Photography.
Order of Service Stationery
I created an order of service with all the details of the wedding ceremony for the couple, personalised with a flourish of calligraphy. The calligraphy and text were in white on a green card which was the main colour used throughout the wedding styling.
Wedding Breakfast Set Up
The wedding breakfast was set up in The Cow Shed barn at Silchester Farm with handcrafted rustic wooden tables, cross backed chairs and huge windows to let in the light. Stunning floral arrangements and romantic candles in glass vases were placed on the banquet tables. I love how beautiful this looks.
The top table for the bride and groom was adorned with florals for maximum impact and the perfect photo opportunity. These floral arrangements were moved from the ceremony to make double use of the flowers!
For each guest place name, I hand calligraphered the name in gold on to a green card which was placed on white linen napkin with foliage nestled in.
Each table had a wedding menu which included calligraphy in green and a watercolour foliage illustration. The foliage design was included on the couple’s save the dates and invitations for consistency and was based on my Amelia stationery collection. All of the wedding stationery collections on my website include everything from save the dates through to the on the day stationery, to enable a consistent wedding style and colour palette.
Wedding Signs
Large signage creates a beautiful opportunity to add some colour and style on the wedding day. Katie and Tim chose a green combined welcome and order of service sign with white calligraphy. The welcome sign was styled next to the white table plan which featured the watercolour foliage design and personalised with hand drawn calligraphy in green for the names of each of the tables.
Wedding Outfits
Katie looked gorgeous in a bridal gown from Isabella Grace Bridal in Tunbridge Wells, which included a beautiful lace bodice and long sleeves with a flowing skirt. Katie’s hair was styled in an elegant low bun. Tim looked incredibly smart in his military uniform, wearing his medals with pride.
Katie was accompanied by six bridesmaids who looked beautiful in pale green silk maxi dresses, each carrying a bouquet similar to hers with pops of pink roses and lots of green foliage.
I loved being a part of this gorgeous rustic barn wedding and wish Katie and Tim a lifetime of happiness together. Here are a few more photos from their wedding day…
