Luisa and Stuart opted for a chic, countryside wedding at Notley Abbey, a beautiful country house wedding venue in Buckinghamshire with spectacular grounds. The couple blended together Luisa’s Brazilian culture with British, combining a traditional vibe with a real Brazilian party feel.
This chic countryside wedding had a green and gold colour palette with lots of white flowers, lights and candles for a very romantic feel. Photographer Poppy Carter Portraits captured all the stunning details styled by Bower Events who brought the couple’s vision to life. The ceremony took part outside in the stunning grounds of Notley Abbey with stunning white florals from Sonning Flowers.
Chic Wedding Table Styling
Inside the venue round tables were set up with gorgeous floral and greenery centrepieces and chic white chairs.
For the table names I used gold calligraphy on a Perspex background which looked so pretty styled next to the greens of the foliage, white florals and gold tealight holders.
For each place setting, the gorgeous charger plates created a beautiful backdrop. Layered with a napkin, menu with calligraphy and bold green watercolour place names, hand calligraphered in gold ink.
Wedding Signage
Who says the wedding table plan has to be boring?! It’s another opportunity to bring the colour and wedding style to life while showing guests where they are to be seated. I used white calligraphy and an easy to read font on a bold watercolour green background for a pop of colour. The table plan was placed on a wooden easel and styled with the gorgeous florals and foliage used throughout the venue.
Wedding vow booklets are a gorgeous keepsake of the day for his and hers vows. Luisa and Stuart chose gold calligraphy on green card to tie in with the rest of their stationery, tied with a beautiful silk ribbon.
Wedding Outfits
Luisa looked incredible in her stunning Pronovias dress, accessorised with Jimmy Choo shoes and gorgeous loose curls. Stuart wore a grey three piece suit with patterned navy tie.
The bridesmaids wore an assorted mix of beautiful, green dresses with the groomsmen in grey morning suits with white shirts.
I loved being a part of Luisa and Stuart’s big day and wish them all the happiness together.
