GREEN AND BURGUNDY STYLED SHOOT AT GRITTLETON HOUSE

When photographers Joanna Ranson and Nicole Walker come together to host their Curate workshop, it’s always magical! Their photo and videography workshops showcase the incredible talent of fellow wedding industry suppliers and they are truly a joy to be part of.

The shoot took place at Grittleton House, a luxury listed manor house wedding venue in Wiltshire. The concept for ‘Fig Season’ combined a palette of white, fig, mauve and olive to create a luxe and editorial feel and included a lace edged welcome sign. This is the first lace fabric I've used and she's a beauty, styled here with the incredible cake by Louise Hayes Cake Design. Fabric signage brings a softness that paper can’t and I just love how the fabric creates movement.

I designed bespoke stationery for the workshop with a sage green and burgundy palette, a colour combination I’m loving at the moment! Along with an old money style font, oval shapes and a bespoke monogram of the couple's initials. I adore the velum pearl invitation with the personalised wax seal and the lace detailing on the personalised bellyband.

I designed the welcome sign and the table plan as double sided so they could be easily moved and displayed within the venue. Firstly the burgundy welcome sign within the oval shape, placed next to an incredible wedding floral display.

The table plan was printed on the other side on white card with touches of calligraphy for each of the table numbers.

Such a stunning wedding breakfast tablescape with pops of burgundy and green coming from the stunning wedding florals, candles and the napkins. Candles always provide a romantic atmosphere.

Each place setting featured a combined place name and menu, which is a great choice for your budget instead of producing separate stationery items. Sitting pretty alongside a burgundy napkin, pretty crockery and a lovely wicker placemat.
