ELEGANT & RUSTIC BLACK TIE BARN WEDDING

Lauren and Tom chose the fab wedding venue Hyde House in the Cotswolds for their big day. With rustic yet elegant wedding styling, including black tie suits for the men, pale green silk bridesmaids dresses and lots of personal touches for the couple. All the gorgeous details were captured by photographer Romy Lawrence. The ceremony took part in the bright and airy barn with huge nay windows and rustic oak beams.

Wedding Breakfast Set Up

The wedding breakfast celebration was set up in the spacious and airy barn at Hyde House. The couple worked with local florist Stow Flower Shop and wedding stylist Wedding Celebrations UK, to include an abundance of roses and peonies mixed with dried grasses and eucalyptus in blush, sage, gold and neutral tones. Including these beautiful table centrepieces which really created an impact.

I designed each of the table names with hand drawn calligraphy and an illustration of different lakes within the Lake District, which were placed into gold frames. This was a lovely personal touch for the couple who had visited the lakes when they were engaged. Another gorgeous personal touch was the wedding favours which were homemade gin by Lauren’s Mum, made with rhubarb she had grown too.

Each table had a wedding menu which I hand calligraphered the title with black ink on white card. The menus were styled next to the elegant gold candleholders and tealights in glass vases on the tables.

Wedding Table Plan

The couple chose a really fun table plan pegging funny photos of the guests along with their nicknames to a grid. The find your seat heading is my signature calligraphy in black ink.

Wedding Outfits

Lauren wore a stunning 3D floral applique wedding dress by Suzanne Neville, with her hair in glamour Hollywood style waves and a veil for the ceremony.

Lauren’s six bridesmaids looked beautiful in pale green silk halter neck maxi dresses from ASOS.

Tom wore a black tie suit from Charles Tyrwhitt and his groomsmen all wore black tie suits from Moss Bros, which was a lovely contrast with the rustic countryside venue.
