It's amazing to see the wedding industry getting back to business after a rollercoaster couple of years due to the pandemic. Sadly, lots of couples have experienced a stressful and worrying lead up to their big day because of uncertainty and covid rule changes. Many of the couples I’ve been designing stationery for have had to postpone their wedding, some on multiple occasions.
However, everything is picking back up and it’s going to be a very busy year celebrating love! Having gone through the process of postponed weddings I thought it would be useful to share some tips here on the blog, in case you are experiencing a postponed wedding yourself.
Advise Guests on Your New Date
Ensure you get your new wedding date into your guest’s diaries as soon as possible. There are a few options to do so….
If I’ve already designed your save the dates or invitations, I can amend with the new wedding date and re-print. Or I can create a ‘change the date’ as shown in this example.
If your wedding has been postponed and you’ve changed your mind about the style or colour of stationery you’d like. Or your wedding day has changed to another season then I can always change the design to another one of my curated collection of designs on the website.

If you have a really tight turnaround and need convenience, I can design a digital save the date that you can email out to all your guests, instead of waiting for the print time.
Or if I haven’t previously worked on your stationery we can start the process of designing your wedding stationery, bespoke to you as a couple. Have a look through the website for an idea of the style of stationery you are looking for. This is the classic Eloise Stationery Collection which features hot rose gold foil calligraphy on crisp white card.

The Lauren Stationery Collection features white calligraphy on dusky blue tones, with vellum layers to soften the design. Accessorised with a foliage wax seal for a luxury finishing touch. Have a read of my top 5 finishing touches for wedding stationery here.

Perhaps a watercolour background appeals to you, such as The Faith Stationery Collection which features modern calligraphy in gold foil with a pale pink watercolour background.
