I used to work with the lovely Clare & Joe so this pair hold a special place in my heart. I was overjoyed to be a part of their gorgeous wedding day that was filled with a charming rustic style.
Wedding Venue and Photographer
The wedding took place at the beautiful Stanlake Park, set within a working vineyard in the Berkshire countryside. The barn is nestled within the vines, bringing all the destination wedding vibes straight to the UK.
Clare & Joe took the venue as their inspiration for their theme, combined with the autumnal season they wed in, their big day was filled with rich tones and rustic styling.
The fabulous Jessica Lily Photography captured the day and her warm editing styled worked so well with the autumnal tones. She ensured all the emotion and joy of the day was caught on film to be treasured for years to come.
Rustic Styling
Sarah & Jo from Ever After Events were on hand to make all of Clare’s vision into a reality. To bring the rustic styling to life wooden crates, wine barrels and coloured glass table centres were all used.
The couple were wed under this amazing archway with gorgeous florals featuring Dahlias, Roses & Cosmos in stunning rich burgundy and blush pink.
Burgundy and White Stationery
For the stationery, we combined crisp white cardstock, with burgundy watercolour and hand drawn calligraphy. Personalised menus sat at each place setting.
I love working with Ever After Events, they go the extra mile when thinking about all things styling, setting up beautiful displays that work so well with my stationery.
The simple table centres used apothecary bottles, filled with stems of feature florals, on log slices and were the perfect backdrop for the table names, all named after a type of wine!
Rustic Burgundy Signage
For the larger on the day signage such as the wedding table plan, perspex was hand painted in the burgundy shade and paired with modern calligraphy.
The welcome display featured Perspex signage with rustic crates, an abundance of florals and wooden barrels to tie in with the venue and rustic theme as guests entered.
Bride & Groom Outfits
Clare’s stunning lace dress from Debbie Rees Bridal, was the perfect fit for the wedding, teamed with a lace trimmed full length veil, simple up-do and sparkly jewels, Clare looked truly beautiful.
Joe chose a classic navy suit, with burgundy statement tie ensuring he looked dapper and suave and tied in with the colour palette.
The bridesmaids wore full length burgundy dresses that blended seamlessly with the stunning florals and details from the whole day.
I adored being part of this day and wish Clare & Joe a lifetime of happiness.
