Shannon and Alex chose Caswell House for their wedding day, a Cotswold barn wedding venue in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with beautiful gardens. Gorgeous blue tones were used throughout the day from the bridesmaid dresses and florals to the ribbon used on the guest place names and on the table plan. The blue colour palette was combined with touches of gold on the wedding day stationery. Florist Joanna Carter Florals used stunning blue and white blooms combined with fresh foliage for statement floral instillations. All the lovely details of their romantic chic wedding day were captured by wedding photographer Lucy Darby.
Wedding Signage
I love personalising a variety of different materials with calligraphy! The couple chose a fabric welcome and order of the day sign as their guests arrived at the wedding venue. The gold calligraphy and text looked so elegant on the cream fabric.
For the table plan, each table was printed onto a card and tied with a pretty blue ribbon to one of the beams in the rustic barn.
I can design any small signage for your wedding. Incorporating a QR code is a great way to make it easier for you as a couple to see all your guests’ photos and it doesn’t take long to set up either!
Wedding Breakfast Set Up
For the wedding breakfast guests were seated at round tables with beautiful round floral centrepieces using the blue florals, intertwined with candlesticks. The tables looked clean and crisp styled with silver cutlery, golden tea light candles holders and cream crockery.
I hand calligraphered each table name in gold ink on to white card with hand torn edges for a minimalist yet elegant look. Each guest name was also hand calligraphered in gold ink and tied with a delicate blue ribbon, bringing a pop of colour to the tables.
Thank you, Shannon and Alex, for including me as one of your wedding suppliers! I loved being a part of your wedding day and wish you a very happy future together. Here’s a few more photos from their wedding day including a fabulous two tier heart shaped cake…
