Emma and Simon held their wedding day at Northbrook Park, a country manor house in Hampshire UK. A beautiful wedding day with a black-tie theme, filled with an abundance of fresh foliage, white florals and luxe styling. Photographer Rebecca Carpenter captured all the details of their gorgeous winter wedding, with stylist Wonderlust Events ensuring everything looked perfect and Blue Sky Flowers beautiful blooms, it was a real dream team of suppliers.
The ceremony took place in the elegant Vine Room at Northbrook Park with plenty of natural light in the winter. The couple look delighted as their guests covered them in confetti to celebrate.
The wedding breakfast was set up in the Orangery at Northbrook Park with a top table and round tables for the wedding guests, styled with wooden chairs and dark linen.
The tables were styled with black and white candlesticks, tealights for a romantic atmosphere and beautiful white flowers and foliage in an assortment of small glass vases.
Each of the table numbers I designed with white calligraphy on a frosted perspex background for a modern and minimalist look.
For each guest place setting I hand calligraphered the place name which was attached to the wedding menu with a simple pin. Layered with a sprig of foliage and tied together with a velvet ribbon.
Wedding Signage
I love working with frosted perspex because it’s so versatile and works with many different colour schemes. White calligraphy was used for Emma and Simon’s order of the day sign which was fixed to a black stand.
The table plan also used white calligraphy and text on a frosted perspex background, fixed to a black stand and accessorised with fresh foliage, ready for guests to discover their table.
Wedding Stationery
Based on the Emma stationery collection from the curated collections on my website, the stationery has a contemporary look with gold foil calligraphy on vellum, layered on crisp white card for the invitation. Accompanied by a bespoke monogram and minimal fastenings across the stationery suite. Any of the collections can be customised to suit the colour palette of a couple’s wedding day.
Emma and Simon opted to write bespoke vows which were printed within his and her vow booklets in black, with a silk ribbon and gold calligraphy. Not only beautiful on the day but a gorgeous keepsake for the couple too! Vow booklets can be created to match the colour of your wedding palette.
Wedding Outfits
Bride Emma looked incredible in an intricate lace detail Pronovias bridal gown with a deep v neckline and long sleeves, accessorised with shoes from Monsoon. Hair and Make Up was by Spence and Oliver who styled Emma with beautiful waves and a radiant make up look.
Groom Simon wore a modern tuxedo from Suit Supply with his groomsmen all in suits from Next. Emma’s bridesmaids looked gorgeous in dresses by Jenny Yoo.
I was delighted to be a part of Emma and Simon’s wedding day and wish them all the happiness for their future together. Here’s a few more photos….
