BARN WEDDING WITH TOUCHES OF BLUE

Abby and Dom held their wedding day at Rackley’s Barn, a stunning, light and airy barn with views of the Chiltern hills. The venue is pet friendly, so the couple’s dog featured in their ceremony. Cute! Touches of blue combined with stylish monochrome stationery and signage ran throughout the summer wedding day. All the details were captured by wedding photographer Poppy Carter.

It’s not every wedding where a celeb makes an appearance! The Groom’s brother arranged for Professor Green to make a visit in the evening, to surprise the newlyweds and they were delighted!

Wedding Breakfast Set Up

The barn was set up with long banquet tables with the wall of fairy lights providing a stunning backdrop for the top table. I adore a statement floral instillation and this one looks beautiful with tones of peaches, pinks, whites and blues by Blossom and Ivy.

For each place name, I hand lettered calligraphy with black ink on white card for a contemporary look. Each place name was laid onto a silver beaded charger plate next to a fresh white napkin.

Wedding Stationery

The couple opted for the Hollie wedding stationery collection from my curated collection of wedding stationery designs. Designed with a minimalist theme combining hand drawn calligraphy and a bespoke monogram of the couple’s initials. Each of the wedding stationery collections on my website can be customised to suit the colours and design of your wedding day!

Wedding Signage

Abby and Dom chose a welcome sign to welcome their guests in style to their big day. With black calligraphy on frosted perspex suspended on a black frame and styled with the pretty wedding florals.

For the order of the day sign, I designed with icons to let guests know what to expect and when. The couple also asked to integrate a lovely way to request their guests from using their phones in the ceremony.

On The Day Stationery

As well as the usual on the day items such as table names, menus and place names, I can create small stationery items for anything the couple request. Abby and Dom asked for some reserved tags for key members of family and those involved in the wedding ceremony to be seated at the front. The order of service featured the couple’s bespoke monogram in black on the cover.

Wedding Outfits

Bride Abby wore a slim fitting bridal gown with her hair styled in a twisted half up do. Her four bridesmaids wore matching blue maxi dresses. Groom Dom wore a three piece tweed suit to match the colour of the bridesmaids with his best men and grooms in a different blue tone suit.

Thank you Abby and Dom for having me as one of your wedding suppliers. I wish you all the happiness for your future together. Here’s a few more photos from their wedding day….
