A rich burgundy tone was used throughout the gorgeous wedding of Susan and Nick at Millbridge Court, a 19th century house wedding venue in the heart of the Surrey countryside. All the wonderful details of their day were captured by wedding photographer Kit Myers.
The wedding breakfast was set up in the light and bright hall of Millbridge Court with round tables and striking autumnal floral centrepieces by florist Sage and Season, featuring pops of burgundy amongst the pastels and foliage.
Each of the table names was designed with a watercolour burgundy background and white calligraphy which accompanied the autumnal blooms, burgundy linen and blush candlesticks.
Susan and Nick chose Perspex name places personalised with my hand drawn calligraphy for a romantic look for each guest’s place at the table.
Wedding Table Plan
I created the wedding table plan with copper vinyl with a mirror high shine finish applied to clear perspex with the reverse painted in a rich burgundy tone. The table plan was placed on a wooden easel so all the guests could easily find their table.
Wedding Cake
The beautiful three tiered iced wedding cake was accessorised with autumnal flowers and placed on a classic white cake stand.
Wedding Outfits
Bride Susan wore a beautiful Suzanne Neville bridal gown with a deep v neckline, long sleeves and full skirt. Accessorised with drop pearl earrings, pearl hair clip and a full length veil. Hair and beauty bridal pro’s Spence and Oliver styled Susan’s hair into glamorous waves and gave her a radiant bridal make up look.
Groom Nick wore a three piece blue suit from Moss Bros with a white shirt and burgundy tie, with all his groomsmen in matching outfits.
I wish Susan and Nick a lifetime of happiness and I’m so grateful to have been a small part of their big day….
